More than 6,800 yards of formidable play challenge even the most discerning golfer at The Fortress, an 18-hole championship golf course in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
The Fortress reflects the characteristics of golf's early Scottish origins, where wind is always a factor and holes play through and around fescue-covered mounds and well-guarded, sectioned greens. Bent grass tees, greens and fairways surround 75 bunkers on the par 72 course.
